Medical Doctor
I’m Rameen Farrukh, a Medical Doctor and proud graduate of Schola Nova, currently pursuing my Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at King’s College London.
The MPH program brings together medicine, policy, research, and economics, giving students the tools to understand health systems and work on solutions to global health challenges.
After graduating from medical college as a Double Gold Medalist and working in the clinical field, I realised that real change in healthcare doesn’t just happen at the bedside, it happens in the systems and policies that make care accessible to everyone. This passion took me to the London School of Economics and now to King’s, where I’m focused on tackling public health challenges on a global scale.
I’ve also had the chance to work in Pakistan’s private and public health sector, including with the Ministry of Health, where I saw firsthand how thoughtful programs and community-driven initiatives can make a real difference.
Alongside my studies, I started Health Mosaic: Pakistan’s Journey, a blog where I explore public health initiatives, highlight their successes and challenges, and share stories that inspire conversations about healthcare access and equity. It’s my way of using storytelling to advocate for change.
My goal is to bridge medicine, policy, and advocacy to build health systems that are not just stronger, but fairer and more compassionate: in Pakistan and around the world.
